When you create an account and submit an entry to this directory, we collect: your first and last name, state, gender, hair color, eye color, height, whether you have a pet, and your pet’s type. We also collect a username, email address, and password to manage your account.
How this information is used
Your first name and the details you submit (state, hair color, eye color, height, pet information) are displayed to other logged-in, registered users of this site through our search feature. Your last name is never displayed publicly. It is stored only for our own internal records and is not shown to other users or included in any public page or URL.
Who can see your information
Only registered, logged-in users of this site can view directory entries. The directory is not accessible to the public or to search engines.
Your control over your information
- You may edit your entry at any time by logging in and returning to the submission page.
- You may set your entry’s visibility to Hidden at any time, which removes it from search results while keeping your account intact. You can switch it back to Visible whenever you choose.
- You may request complete deletion of your entry and/or account at any time by contacting us. We will remove your data within 5 business days of your request.
Cookies
Like most WordPress sites, we use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember basic site preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data retention
We retain your account and entry information for as long as your account remains active, or until you request deletion.
